Ditch that USB drive
Yes I’m writing content for my blog in the middle of the night. I should be sleeping I know. Tired of using a USB ( key, stick, etc. ) to keep files you need to work on in multiple places? I bet a lot of you out there have files on that USB device that you don’t have backed up anywhere else. What happens if you lose it or it fails on you? Here’s two different alternatives. ( and you can even use both ) Both Dropbox and ZumoDrive give you 2 GB of online storage for free. With both of them you can install the client software on your primary computer(s) and access your files via the web on public computers. As an added bonus, they both make it super easy to share big files with others without having to worry about e-mail attachment size limits. Give them a shot, and be on the lookout for my next tips entry where I’ll set you up with some top notch Firefox add-ons.
