The performance of the site may decrease some over the next couple days. I’m trying to run a virtual server on the same box using VMWare. So far it seems to be working, but the performance of the primary linux system is, of course, going to suffer some. Hopefully it won’t be a big deal. If the virtual server thing doesn’t work out things will go back to normal.

E-mail Relay

Yes, for a while I had sendmail misconfigured and was running it as an open relay. That was my fault. I never used it to spam anyone, but I discovered tonight that is was used that way. The problem has been fixed, and I am presently the only person who can send email using this server. And only from my desktop machine I might add. Hopefully in time I can correct the damage that was done. I’m sorry. TT
