LATE Ride

After missing the LATE ride last year because I was out of town, I made it this year. All I can really say is wow. The CFR crew showed everybody else there how to have fun. I think most of the people that came out for LATE ride must have thought they were in the Tour De France cause we never slowed down. Anyway, White Castle is awsome and I’m going back to sleep.

I thought the weekend was supposed to be relaxing… I woke up at about 10 this morning after going to bed at 3:30 AM. I managed to drag myself to the shower and then out to get a bagel and a cup of tea. I promptly came back ate the bagel and went back to sleep. Wierd huh? Anyway… The ride last night was fan-freakin-tastic. Good weather, huge turnout, couldn’t ask for more. We rode for a while, then we got some beer. New CFR Video

Yesterday afternoon a bunch of us rode from downtown to Danno’s new place to watch the new Chicago Freeride video. He lives about 10 miles west of downtown, which is a long way in freeride terms. The ride there wasn’t nearly as bad as I expected it to be. We got to ride through the Puerto Rican neighborhood on the day of the Puerto Rican parade. This turned out to be a lot of fun.
