New bike dies

Nothing like buying a new bike and getting a complete clusterfuck added on. As my previous entries state, I blew out one of the preload screws after some light riding. The shop I bought the bike from was less than helpful. I went in there on a day when the manager of their other location was working. I pleaded my case to him and he took over trying to help me. Long story short he ended up switching out my bike with the broken shock with a completely new one. As I was about to roll out of the shop More >

This day sucks

Man this day really sucks. I left Loyola early ( leaving Hui by himself ) I came home, did laundry ( which I haven’t folded or put away yet ) ate lunch, decided “screw it, my knees hurt but I want to ride” so I went to ride. I had only been riding about 20 minutes and was doing some stairs at Navy Pier when one of the pre-load screws blew out of my fork.
