Yesterday afternoon a bunch of us rode from downtown to Danno’s new place to watch the new Chicago Freeride video. He lives about 10 miles west of downtown, which is a long way in freeride terms. The ride there wasn’t nearly as bad as I expected it to be. We got to ride through the Puerto Rican neighborhood on the day of the Puerto Rican parade. This turned out to be a lot of fun. I was really bored after work today so I decided that even though my knee still hurt from Saturday I would go ride. I had fun riding. ( as I almost always do ) I practiced riding skinnys near the zoo, and then went down to Navy Pier to play around on the stairs. I’m getting a lot better at riding up stairs. Challenge Park

Finally got down to Challenge Park on Saturday… That place is f’n amazing. I want to keep going back until I have the nuts to ride everything they have there. ( Which won’t happen because those teamsally dudes just keep building more. Thanks to Danno at chicagofreeride for giving me a ride down there, and of course teamsally for building everything and letting us ride it.

Today was great… Free lunch, Gift Certificate for Borders that I used to get a cd I wanted, Picked up my new P2, Had an F’n awsome ride tonight. What could be better? I’m seriously considering calling in sick to the bar tomorrow ( which I have never done ) to go up and hit the Lane Tech jumps. I know I won’t though because there is nobody else that can come in for Saturday days. I don’t even feel like going to sleep right now… Arrrrggggghhhhh
Ride with CFR

Went out riding with CFR today. I found out that there are dirt jumps easily within riding distance of my apartment. I can’t wait to get the new bike and give them a proper try. I saw some amazing jumping today. A good evening even if all I got to do was watch.
