Muscle Memory

It’s funny what your muscles remember. Since my knee surgery, almost everything feels weird. Walking, going up and down stairs, kneeling, you get the idea. When I got my bike out today, ( finally ) some combination of my legs and brain just went “Wow, this feels right.” It felt like flying. Unfortunately after a few minutes my knee decided it was done. I went home before I hurt my knee, but even the very short time I had was awesome.

Did 22 miles tonight with CFR crew at the LATE ride. It was a blast. My knees are hosed now. Think I’ll go to sleep. Good night.

I finally got back on the bike tonight. My shoulder hurt of course, but not so much that I couldn’t ride. It felt so good to be riding again. It was a really beautiful night. Now I’m going to take a shower and then watch a movie. TT
