This post brought to you by the computer in my office since my cable modem is down AGAIN. I’m currently on the phone with RCN trying to get something done. This is the second time in just a few months that my connection has gone down for no apparent reason. I was all set to go home from my dentist’s office today and write about my hatred for all things dental, until I got home and found my connection down. Now I have to write about my hatred for people that sell an “always-on” internet connection that isn’t “always-on.” I just got off the phone with RCN. Asking to speak to a supervisor immediately actually got something done this time. She moved my appointment from Thursday night to Monday afternoon. The downside is that I have to take off work now. Monday is the day we will be preparing for the bar exam at work.
I’m scheduled to have a root canal done tomorrow at 12 PM. So, now on top of being nervous about getting a root canal I’m pissed off and I don’t have an internet connection. I’m afraid to know what’s going to go wrong next…
