What has two thumbs and can’t catch a break? This guy! ( does stupid pointing thing ) I moved the follow-up appointment with the oral surgeon to tomorrow since I’m almost out of pain medication. ( That’s not exactly why… ) I left work early today because the pain was getting pretty intense. On my way to the bus stop I decided to call the surgeon’s office and ask what I should do since I was almost out of pain medication and still having pain. They said they couldn’t give me a refill since for most people the pain had subsided by the time they ran out medication. Now I have to see the doctor tomorrow to find out if everything is healing okay. I tried to eat some overcooked pasta for dinner tonight. That was a disaster. I don’t think my teeth line up right anymore ( which I read can happen ) so biting anything is really strange. Since the surgery my teeth have been covered with a really nasty coating that just won’t go away. I’m not sure if it’s from the disolving stitches, or the anti-biotic. All this came together in such a way that after the first couple bites of pasta I just didn’t want to eat anymore, even though I was starving. I ended up eating another stupid pudding cup and rinsing with salt water. Now it doesn’t feel too bad I suppose. ( I am on Vicodin though )
I realized today that the Interbike convention I wanted to attend at the end of the summer is within a day or two of my sister’s wedding so now I can’t take the vacation I wanted to. Can’t a guy get a break?
